Oh my gosh just look at the resemblance!
Just kidding!
ShaNayNay is adopted of course. I adopted her from Japan. She was an orphan as her parents got eaten by an evil dragon.  But she will have a great life with me!

Me and ShaNayNay!

Spending some time with the baby :p

Really glad to be out of school for spring break, ShaNayNay didn't like it there either! We're much happier at home with our video games, warm heater, and music!

Nala Meets ShaNayNay!

My kitty, Nala, saying hi to ShaNayNay   :3

My Experience So Far

I HATE THIS PROJECT.
I have so many things to carry and grab in the morning with work stuff, college stuff, and everything else and this is so annoying. Don't get me wrong I understand the learning experience behind it and it is a GOOD project, BUT I PERSONALLY HATE THIS PROJECT. I already don't like babies, I've never been around them in my life at all, and carrying around a fake one is just annoying. It's just an annoying burden to an already busy life that had no realistic risk of having a baby in it in the first place.
I remember that episode of Teen Mom where she said : "WOw I dIdN'T KnOw goInG to College wOULd be SO harD wITH a BaBY?!?!?!"

No duh....  College is hard enough as is, try it with a 10 1/2 pound annoyance as well. (Mine is 5 pounds, I was just being realistic with it)

I'm also 99.9999999999% sure that I will not be pregnant in high school, as there's no boyfriend, and of course, only 10 weeks left not counting spring break.

Don't be a teen mom kids.
Anyways, that's my grumble.  xD
How would I Improve This Project?

I would improve this project by us having to do like a mock child care classes as a class together. And having partners. I have to have somebody babysit my baby almost everyday because I am either in work or school. If I had a partner I could have it for the day and they could have it for the night like most normal parents work out. My case is not really the norm with work&college classes (work is pretty normal for a high schooler.) but not a lot of my classmates take college classes, so having a partner would be extremely helpful, and it would teach us not only the hard parts about having a baby, but also the hard parts about being in a relationship as parents as a baby. Not everybody will grow up to be a single father/mother.

However, other than that I think it is a well put together project and the stimulation of having to take and watch the baby all the time is real. The struggle is real!

First Days of Parenting

It's annoying carrying it around all day. Except that fact it's fine though :p My mom and dad don't seem to care much. Getting some weird looks from underclassmen around school. Nothing was surprising about the Baby Costs Project because raising another human being is always going to be expensive.
My mom's responses to "If I became a Teen Parent" Were nice and not surprising. She said she would help out and what not, but would be disappointed.
